The recording

Both record the screen with your camera, microphone and the computer's sound, and both zoom in where you clicked without keyframes. FocuSee also zooms on typing, adds 3D motion that follows the cursor, and records phones over USB. 240fps records the cursor separately, so you can smooth it, enlarge it or hide it after the fact, and records from a panel in the notch with your notes on screen. 240fps for Mac needs macOS 15 and Apple silicon.

What you pay over time

FocuSee's yearly plans were $49.99 (Standard, 1 computer) and $79.99 (Advanced, 3 computers, with 3,600 AI credits a year) on 7 November 2026. Its $199.99 Lifetime plan covers version 2.x; its FAQ says the next major version is a paid upgrade. 240fps Lifetime is $39 once and includes every update. FocuSee's free trial covers standard features and one exported video.
