Clay device mockups

240fps has a Clay look for its device mockups: choose Clay instead of Realistic and the device is drawn as matte clay in its chosen colour, softened to a pastel, with a thick bezel, soft light and shade, and no buttons, Dynamic Island, notch or camera. Your screenshot, recording or website stays sharp on the screen. It works on phones, tablets, laptops, the iMac, displays and watches, in images and videos.

Less device, more screen

A photographed device brings reflections, buttons and the maker's details with it. Clay leaves those out, so the eye goes to your app and the mockup reads as a design rather than a product photo. It suits soft, illustrated brands and pastel backgrounds.

Drawn, not photographed

Clay is drawn in code, so it stays sharp at any export size. While it's on, it replaces the photographed frame; choose Realistic and the photo comes back, with your screen and layout unchanged.

Where it doesn't apply

The plain screenshot frame, the browser window and the Mac window have no clay version; they have their own styles instead.

Questions

Can the clay be any colour?

It follows the device colour you pick, softened to a pastel. Pick another of the device's colours to change it; the background can be any colour you like.

Can I go back to the realistic device?

Yes. Choose Realistic and the photographed frame returns.

Is it free?

Designing is free, and free exports are previews: up to 1280 px, with a small 240fps mark. Full-size exports with no mark come with 240fps Monthly ($7 a month) or Lifetime ($39 once).
