Turn a website into a video

240fps turns a website into a video in one click: paste a public URL, and it renders the page in a real browser at MacBook and iPhone sizes, scrolls both from top to bottom, adds the site's name as a headline, and exports a 12-second MP4. Every part can then be changed on the timeline.

How it works

A real browser on our server opens the page twice: once at the MacBook's screen size and once at the iPhone's, so you get the true desktop and mobile layouts, not one page squeezed into two frames. It captures the whole page, including content that only appears as you scroll, then the editor animates a smooth scroll through each.

You see a soft preview of the whole page within seconds while the sharp capture finishes.

  • Launch posts for a new landing page
  • Agency and freelancer portfolio reels
  • Showing a redesign before and after
  • Product Hunt and social media galleries

Pages that can't be captured

Pages behind a sign-in, and sites that block automated browsers, can't be added. For those, record your screen and drop the recording into the device instead.

Questions

Do I need to record my screen?

No. 240fps renders the page itself, so there's no recording, no cursor jitter and no notifications in the shot.

Can I scroll only part of the page?

Yes. Select the website and set where the scroll starts and ends, its speed and pauses, or add your own scroll keyframes.

Is it free?

Designing is free. Exporting images and videos comes with 240fps Monthly ($7 a month) or Lifetime ($39 once).
